Purpose

To lead in execution of route to market strategy through Distribution and Dealers/Channel Management, Device Management and Trade Marketing Management.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Build, maintain and manage the relationship of prospective and current channel partners (Dealers).
Establish productive and professional relationship with key personnel in partner accounts
Meet distribution, sales volumes and protability targets for airtime, sim cards and devices through the channel organization
to consumers
Develop and monitor distribution and sales targets and manage expenses through each channel
Negotiate discount costs with dealers based on volume of bulk distribution of devices/sim cards/airtime
Manage the devices sourcing and distribution in line with company’s data and digital strategy
Assist in device inventory management
Participate in development and lead execution of trade marketing strategy
Manage the brand development and visibility with the channel
Identify brand development, revenue growth and sales opportunities with key dealers/suppliers
Manage the promotional plans and identifying new branding and promotional opportunities in the market and retail outlets

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management or Equivalent
4 to 6 years’ experience in a related field two of which should be in managerial position

Competencies

Data driven individual with business acumen and understanding of telecommunication’s industry
Expertise in marketing programme development for trade/channel/retail outlets
Relationship and Channel management skills
Project management skills
