Butha-Buthe, 21st January – Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) proudly handed over a cheque worth M200,000.00 to Mrs. ‘Makaete Grace Lefaso in Butha-Buthe on the 17th January 2025, officially unveiling her as the first major cash prize winner of the exciting Baso200 campaign. 

The campaign was launched on the 29th November 2024 to celebrate Lesotho’s bicentennial by rewarding Econet customers with incredible prizes while delivering unmatched value to new subscribers and it is part of Econet’s commitment to enriching the lives of Basotho. 

The Baso200 campaign offers participants a chance to win M2,000 in daily prizes, M10,000 cash or a smartphone in weekly prizes, and M200,000 in monthly prizes, including. There is also a grand Prize of a new Toyota GD6 valued at over M500,000 as well as  special Econet branded blanket.

These campaign benefits are valid for 200 minutes, and once unlocked, subscribers qualify for daily, weekly, or monthly draws based on more bundles purchased.
